RICHLAND - Dixon plated a run in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Vienna 4-3 in a Class 2 District 8 semifinal game Thursday.
Maddie Stricklan took the loss. She did now allow an earned run in seven innings. She allowed four hits, four walks and struck out seven.
Ashley Schwartze had two hits for the Lady Eagles.
Maci Ray got the win for Dixon. She allowed four hits while striking out seven and walking five.
Dixon will take on Iberia for the title at 5 p.m. Friday.
Vienna ends its season at 12-9.
