Baseball: Tuscumbia 6, Vienna 4

IBERIA, Mo. - The sixth-seeded Tuscumbia Lions upset the third-seeded Vienna Eagles 6-4 on Monday in the opening round of the Iberia Fall Classic.

Vienna led 4-3 after six innings, but Tuscumbia rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh to pull out the victory. Nate Simmons' two-run single plated the first two runs of that frame, while a groundout by Quentin King plated another.

Zane Humphreys had a double and one RBI for the winners.

Wyatt Ahart got the win, as he allowed four runs (one earned) in six innings. He allowed five hits and struck out seven. Humphreys got the save, striking out one.

Tuscumbia play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday's late game between second-seeded Russellville and seventh-seeded Dixon. Vienna takes on the loser of that game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
