BizBeat: Buck Dynasty Taxidermy opens in Wardsville

"You'll get it back before you forget what it looks like." That's the Buck Dynasty Taxidermy motto.

The new business, located in Cole County at 6914 Whippoorwhil Dr., was started this fall by Richard Weekley. The St. Louis man recently moved to Wardsville, moving his business with him. A Missouri Taxidermy Institute graduate, Weekley said his services are 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed.

Although some taxidermists only do certain animals, Buck Dynasty will do just about anything. Weekley said he does fish, ducks, mammals, turkey, geese, bobcats, etc. He's been doing taxidermy since 2005 and has even had some requests to preserve pets.

Weekley will be donating 10 percent of all his proceeds to cancer research, as he and his wife have both had family members affected by the disease.

In honor of the Buck Dynasty grand opening, Weekley said to mention you saw his ad and you'll receive $25 off services. For more information call 573-616-8656.
