The Jefferson City High School orchestra program is holding its annual apple pie fundraiser this weekend.
Advocates for the music program are asking supporters to purchase either a traditional apple pie or a Dutch apple pie at Hy-Vee between today and Sunday. Each is $10, and customers can choose either cooked or take-and-bake desserts.
The proceeds from each apple pie will help underwrite the costs of repairing students' musical instruments.
