Gumbo Bottoms may have a for sale sign in its window, but the downtown Jefferson City bar isn't closing anytime soon.
Owner Becky Kehoe said she is just "playing" with her options. Kehoe has owned the building and business located at 221 Madison St., since its opening nearly seven years ago.
The Chris Gates - Kolb Properties sign was placed in the window last week, but the establishment remains open. Since relocating and getting ready to start a family, Kehoe said she is exploring the possibility of selling the business.
"If someone buys it, great. But otherwise I am happy here," she said last week.
