Joshua Grotzinger, 31, Rocheport, is charged with two counts of aggravated stalking.

Information from the Boone County prosecutor's office shows Grotzinger repeatedly harassed the victim from Oct. 4-9 by spitting on her and driving by her residence multiple times.

On Oct. 10, Grotzinger again drove by the victim's home and followed her. These incidents are all in violation of an order of protection that the victim had against Grotzinger. The order of protection was issued in April.

With that order in place, the charges were elevated to aggravated stalking.

Authorities said none of these actions took place in the Jefferson City area.

Grotzinger remains free on a $10,000 bond.

"The district is still looking at the matter, and since school board policy refers to this as a personnel issue, I can't say much on this matter," said David Luther, spokesman for the Jefferson City Public School District. "However, I can say he is still teaching and coaching. This is his first year teaching in this district, and we have had no other problems reported on him."
