The Jefferson City Lady Jays and the Fatima Lady Comets fell Saturday in volleyball sectionals in their respective classes.
In Class 4 at Ozark, the Lady Jays dropped a three-game decision to the host Lady Tigers. Jefferson City won the first game 26-24 before falling 10-25, 14-25 in the next two.
Ozark (32-4) went on to defeat Rock Bridge to advance to the Class 4 Final Four.
Jefferson City ends its season at 22-12-2.
In Class 2 at Hermann, Fatima also fell in three games to Lutheran St. Peters.
Fatima won the first game 27-25 but dropped the next two by scores of 23-25, 19-25.
Fatima, the defending Class 2 state champion, ends its season at 28-5-1.
Hermann defeated Lutheran St. Peters to advance to the Class 2 Final Four.
