Donita's Catering became Reinhardt Circle on Friday, as former owner Donita Stubinger retired and sold the business to her two children.

The brother-sister team of Curt Stubinger and Misty Schroeder have big changes in store. The biggest, perhaps, is Reinhardt's increased focus on rental space for weddings, corporate events, anniversaries and parties.

"We really want to be your first thought in planning an event," Schroeder said.

Reinhardt's two venues are the Legacy Room, located at the Donita's Cole County location at 5007 Buffalo Road, and Wasserlauf Valley, a scenic outdoor location at 6537 Route D in Russellville.

In the past year, a covered pavilion was added to Wasserlauf. The main location, which houses the Legacy Room, is being remodeled. Stucco is being put on the building, the floors are being replaced, the bar has been remodeled and ceiling fans are being replaced.

Both venues offer linen tableclothes, centerpieces, backdrops and even black leather couches for parties. At both locations, people can have their food catered or bring it in themselves.

Curt Stubinger, a 2004 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Orlando Culinary Academy, will continue to handle the food service. In addition to a variety of foods, he also carves custom sculptures from ice and cheese.

Schroeder and Stubinger picked "Reinhardt" as part of the name because it's the name of Schroeder's grandfather. And like Wasserlauf, it's a good German name. Wasserlauf is German for "creek valley," and there's one at the site, Schroeder said.

In the German tradition, the pair of business owners say they plan to continue the hard work needed to grow their business.
