Mom accused of chasing children with knife

Gwendolyn Antoinete Bruce, 36, of 306 Pioneer Drive in Fulton, is in Callaway County Jail after Fulton police arrested her on weapon and assault charges after she allegedly chased her juvenile children from the residence while she was wielding a knife.

Police reported they responded to a disturbance at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday at 306 Pioneer Drive.

Officers determined Bruce had threatened to kill her children with a knife. Police reported an investigation revealed Bruce chased her children from the residence with a steak knife during the disturbance.

Bruce was arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and second-degree assault.

She is being held in Callaway County Jail on $25,000 bond.
