Moe released by Patriots

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots released former Missouri wide receiver T.J. Moe on Friday.

Moe signed a rookie contract with $30,000 in guaranteed money after going undrafted out of Missouri - the most lucrative deal for a Patriots undrafted free agent in the offseason.

According to multiple reports, Moe was released under the waived/injured designation, meaning he would be able to join the Patriots' injured reserve if he clears waivers. It is unclear when Moe was injured, who attended Patriots workouts as late as Wednesday.

Moe totaled 188 receptions for 2,101 yards and 11 touchdowns at Missouri.
