CLINTON, Miss. - William Woods' season came to an end with a 2-1 loss to LSU Alexandria in the NAIA National Tournament on Tuesday.
The Owls took a 1-0 lead in the third, but LSU Alexandria scored twice in the fourth to take a 2-1 lead.
MacKenzie Bowden (Jefferson City High School) struck out four in 21â„3 innings of relief.
The Owls had just five hits - Lindsey LeCuru (Helias High School) had one - and end their season with a 24-16 record.
