Inclement weather caused a change of scenery. It didn't seem to affect Jefferson City too much.

Moving from Washington Park to the Firley YMCA, Jefferson City topped Helias 8-1 in the final regular-season match for both teams.

Jefferson City won all six singles matches.

Sam Johnson topped Kirk Twehous 8-0, David Clausen beat Ethan Lesko 8-2, David Steinmeyer defeated Caleb Seidel 8-1, Spencer Bone took down Zack Yungbluth 8-2, Isaac Roling beat Jeremy Wolters 8-0 and Rex Michitsch defeated T.J. Hagenhoff 8-0.

Jefferson City then won two of three doubles matches.

Dalton Doyle and Jordan Cole took down Seidel and Yungbluth 8-6 and Michitsch and Josh Morris beat Twehous and Lesko 8-2.

Helias salvaged the final doubles match, as Wolters and Hagenhoff beat Joe Willoh and Dallin Cardon 8-6.

Sixth-seeded Helias (1-8) plays third-seeded Hickman on Monday in the opening round of the Class 2 District 9 Tournament in Columbia.

Second-seeded Jefferson City (12-5) hosts the Helias-Hickman winner Tuesday in the district semifinals.
