Women's Tennis: Washburn 9, Lincoln 0

The Lincoln women's tennis team won just 14 games the entire match while dropping a 9-0 decision to the Washburn Lady Blues on Friday at the Jefferson City Country Club.

In singles, the first three Blue Tigers - Alina Katrevich, Abigail Gober and Kamaria Braye - all lost by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Ashley Roling lost 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4; Gabrielle Quinn fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5; and Jasmine Daniel lost 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.

In doubles, Katrevich-Gober and Braye-Roling both lost 8-3, while the Daniel-Quinn team lost 8-1.

Washburn is now 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.

Lincoln, which dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-5 in the MIAA, will host Emporia State at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
