State archery results

Several area students recently competed in the State Archery Tournament in Warrensburg.

St. Stanislaus, St. Joseph and Helias all qualified teams for the national tournament May 10-11 in Louisville, Ky.

Seth Pezley of St. Joseph had the highest score of any competitor scoring 294 out of a possible 300 points. Also from St. Joseph, Rachel Schulte took fourth place on the girls side while Blake Kirsch took fifth in the elementary boys competition.

Drew Boessen was the top boys finisher for St. Stanislaus. He finished with 279 points. Lauren Block was the top girl, finishing with 252 points. Emma Glazer qualified for nationals in the elementary girls competition.

Evan Block was the top boys finisher for Helias with 268 points while Jordan Rackers was Helias' top finisher on the girls side with 262 points.
