Capitol Police are investigating property damage done to eight state vehicles in Jefferson City on Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the vehicles were on the Missouri Department of Social Services lot at 615 Howerton Court.
Around 6:30 a.m., a vehicle, not state owned, was found to be on fire.
After finding this, officers who responded to the fire found the state vehicles had paint splashed and thrown on them.
Windshield wipers were broken off some of the vehicles and were used to spread the paint over the cars.
