The Jefferson City Area YMCA Aquatics staff is hosting a time trial event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday for those interested in obtaining training times for masters swim events and/or triathlon events, which include 500-yard free, 50 free (other strokes), 100 free, 100 IM and 200 free.
The trial is at Knowles Indoor Pool, 424 Stadium Blvd. Pre-register by Wednesday at 761-9007. Space is limited.
Donations are suggested and proceeds will benefit the Pat Gladbach Scholarship Fund, which provides swim lessons for deserving children in the area.
