FRIEDHEIM, Mo. (AP) - A southeast Missouri man is dead after a tree he was cutting down for a neighbor fell on him.
The Southeast Missourian (http://bit.ly/11C8Hjw ) reports that the accident happened Saturday in Cape Girardeau County. The name of the 34-year-old victim has not been released. Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton says the man became trapped under the tree.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
