Lincoln's bats woke up a bit in the second game, but it wasn't enough as Missouri Southern completed the three-game sweep with a 7-4 victory.

The game was tied at 4 after five, but the Lions scored a run in the sixth and two in the eighth to put the game away.

The Lions led 3-0 after the first. Lincoln got a pair of unearned runs third to make it 3-2. After Missouri Southern took a 4-2 lead in the third, back-to-back RBI singles by Clint Cashen and Josh Kennedy tied the score at 4.
