Ameren Missouri is sponsoring a contest which will give residents the chance to win $5,000 worth of new appliances and improvements for their home.
The contest is part of ActOnEnergy initiative that encourages local residents to become more energy efficient.
Ameren Missouri customers can visit Facebook.com/AmerenMissouri to upload a photo and a 50-word essay about why their home needs energy improvements. Deadline for submission is April 23.
The grand prize winner will receive $5,000 in new and efficient appliances and home improvements and nine runners-up will receive a $500 gift card to a home improvement store.
