Incarnate Word beats Webb City for Class 4 girls title

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Napheesa Collier scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help the undefeated Incarnate Word beat Webb City 63-22 Saturday in the Class 4 Girls Championship.

The Red Knights (31-0) opened the game on a 14-2 run and outscored Webb City 25-5 in the second half to win their fifth title in school history and their third in four years.

Collier finished 9-of-10 from the floor and made all six free throw attempts to tie her season average in scoring. Incarnate Word totaled 17 assists on 50 percent overall shooting (23-of-46).

Desirea Buerge led the Cardinals (25-6) with eight points and nine rebounds, all in the first half. Webb City shot 8-for-40 from the field, including 2-for-18 from behind the arc.
