The Gym-Zzouri Gymnastics team recently competed in the Missouri Winter Games in Springfield, a Missouri USAG state qualifier. Here are the results:
• Xcel Platinum Division - Sara Johnson: seventh bars (8.8).
• Level 7 - Maisy Borden: third vault (9.225), ninth beam (8.8), all-around (34.475).
The following Gym-Zzouri gymnasts previously qualified or qualified at this meet for the Missouri USAG State CHampionships that will be held March 22-24 at Columbia College: Borden, Johnson, Holly Wolken, Taylor Howard, Rachel Holt, Raven Bridges and Mady Durant.
There was also a non-sanctioned portion of the meet. Here are the results:
• Level 2 - Cierra Graves: first beam, floor, fourth all-around (35.65), fifth vault, bars.
• Level 3 - Marissa Eads: fourth vault, fifth bars, all-around (32.30), sixth floor, seventh beam.
• Level 4, 11-year-olds - Betsy Morello: fifth bars, sixth beam, seventh floor, all-around (33.30), eighth vault.
• Level 4, 10-year-olds - Kayla Vegiard: fourth beam, floor, fifth vault, bars, all-around (31.75); Autumn Kempker: fourth bars, fifth beams, sixth vault, floor, all-around (30.20).
• Xcel Gold - Nora Vegiard: first vault, bars, beam, floor, all-around (31.85).
