The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of March 4-15, 2013.
Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signing and drive safely through work areas.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 5 bridge over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck - Bridge replacement continues. Crews continue to set steel girders on the concrete piers. This will require a closure of the existing Hurricane Deck Bridge several times a day for 15 minutes at a time. This process continues over the next 3 to 4 months. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2014.
Crawford County

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route Y - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Possum Hollow Road and the Bourbon city limits - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 49 and Route V - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County

Route 19 between Route 32 and Route WW - Roadside maintenance will take place Thursday, March 7 through Thursday, March 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between Route 68 and the end of state maintenance - Roadway maintenance will take place on Tuesday, March 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County

Route 100 bridge over Baileys Creek, east of Morrison - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Thursday, March 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J bridge over First Creek, west of First Creek Road - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Thursday, March 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J between Route 100 and the end of state maintenance - Culvert pipe maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 28 and Meyer Road - Culvert pipe maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route EE between Route 28 and the Crawford County line - Culvert pipe maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County

Route U between Route 17 and Route 32 - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Thursday, March 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Grindstone Road and Rustic Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, March 7. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Miller County

Route 42 between Route 17 and Route 134 - Shoulder widening work will resume in the spring. The entire project is scheduled for completion in July 2013.
Route 42 between Route 17 and Route TT - Roadside maintenance will take place Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route D between Route 54 and the end of state maintenance - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route K between Bethany Road and Condor Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route BB between Route 42 and Route 133 - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County

Route N between Route 87 and Route NN - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County

Route 50 between Route 63 and Route W - Construction of new lanes. Much of the work currently taking place will not affect traffic. The entire project is scheduled for completion in fall 2014.
Phelps County

Route K bridge over Spring Creek, east of County Road 7982 - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between I-44 and the end of state maintenance - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 4 through Thursday, March 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County

Route 7 between Rio Road and Rochester Road - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 17 between Lexington Road and the Waynesville city limits - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, March 5 and Wednesday, March 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 133 between Main Street and Frisco Street in Richland - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, March 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Washington County
