SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Post 5 Seniors bested Kickapoo 4-0 in the Howard Johnson Invitational on Friday night.
Trevor Schnieders provided all the offense Post 5 needed with an RBI single in the bottom of the first.
Cole Distler added a two-run triple in the sixth inning to highlight a three-run frame.
Seth Lehmen tossed six scoreless innings to pick up the win. He allowed four hits and struck out seven.
Patrick Schnieders went 3-for-3 with an RBI and Dylan Brauner went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored.
Post 5 improved to 13-0 with the win.
