Sheriff's department reports show that at approximately 10:37 p.m., armed robbers forced their way into an apartment at 5209 Collier Court. The three suspects were identified as black males.

One of the victims told deputies he opened the door after hearing knocking on the front door of the apartment.

The suspects confronted two of the four residents and forced them to lie on the floor during the robbery.

One suspect was armed with a hand gun and another with a hammer. It is unclear whether the third suspect had a weapon.

One of the victims was struck in the head with hand gun as he laid face down on the ground.

The suspects left the apartment taking with cash, and several electronic devices.

The victims were able to give authorities a description and direction of the suspect vehicle.

The vehicle was located and upon trying to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield and a short pursuit was initiated.

The suspects crashed their vehicle into a rock bluff at Route C and Hemstreet Road and fled on foot.

With the assistance from the Jefferson City Police Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol two of the suspects were captured.

The two suspects were transported to the Cole County Jail and are facing charges of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, second-degree assault and resisting arrest by fleeing.
