Jefferson City Kiwanis Club is holding a Black and White Luau Party on July 27 at Capitol Plaza Hotel as a fundraiser to benefit Rape and Abuse Crisis Service, American Red Cross Heart of Missouri Chapter, Jefferson City Day Care Center, and JCPD Buddy Pack program.
There will be $2,000 in giveaway prizes including a first prize of $1,000, a second prize of $700 and a third prize of $300.
Tickets are $50 each and are available by calling 573-680-1712.
A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. There is a silent auction from 5:30-8 p.m. and a charity overview from 7:30-8 p.m.
A dance will be from 8 p.m. until midnight with a cash bar from 5:30 p.m.-midnight.
The hotel is offering a special group rate to all luau attendees.
