Fresh off a solid sophomore season, Missouri returner/running back Marcus Murphy is getting some preseason hype.
The junior was named the Hornung Watch List last week, given to college football's most versatile player.
Murphy returned three punts and one kickoff for touchdowns last season while being named first-team all Southeastern Conference and second team All-American. He ranked second in the SEC and 10th in the country by averaging 13.85 yards per punt return. He was fifth in the conference in kickoff return yards at 24.11 yards per return.
He is one of 44 players named to this season's list.
