Ex-hospital CEO in Neb takes Mid-Missouri hospital job

NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) - The former president and chief executive officer of Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk has taken a new job as president of Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo.

The Norfolk Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/17W5in4) that Jim Sinek will begin his new job Aug. 12.

Sinek resigned from the Norfolk hospital post in February, but remained with the hospital as an interim consultant. Sinek said he resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Boone Hospital has 400 beds, 350 physicians on medical staff and 2,000 employees. It has gross revenues of about $800 million and net revenue of about $300 million.

Boone Hospital is the fourth largest of 13 hospitals in the Barnes Jewish Christian Hospital system, which has hospitals throughout St. Louis and middle Missouri, as well as southern Illinois.
