COLUMBIA, Mo. - Missouri coach Frank Haith has been preaching to his team about the need to overcome adversity.
The Tigers have faced plenty of it recently.
"No one cares about what else is going on," Haith said earlier this week. "Everybody just wants what you put out there on the court. It's getting our guys to understand this opportunity."
Coming off an emotional comeback victory Tuesday against South Carolina, 22nd-ranked Missouri looks to continue some of its momentum when it hosts Vanderbilt (4 p.m., ESPNU-TV) today at Mizzou Arena.
Playing without two starters and the cloud of an NCAA investigation hanging over Haith's head, the Tigers (14-4, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) overcame a 13-point second-half deficit to pick up a much-needed conference victory against South Carolina.
