RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - Tribe Time can be a safe place for peers to talk genuinely about their concerns and experiences.

At the semi-monthly meetings of no more than two dozen Cole County R-1 high school students per "tribe," the student-leaders broached the topic of drugs and alcohol.

Students and leaders shared personal stories of loss, discouragement and hope related to friends or family members who suffered from substance abuse.
