Wilde shoots St. Elizabeth to tournament title

With the title of the Calvary Lutheran Tournament on the line, St. Elizabeth's Brian Wilde scored as many points as the Hornets' opponent, leading St. Elizabeth to a 55-29 win over the Prairie Home Panthers.

Wilde was unconscious from 3-point range in the second half, connecting on 8-of-9 to score 24 of his game-high 29 points.

Wilde started the barrage by hitting his first five 3s in the third quarter. After missing his final attempt of the frame, the junior canned all 3 of his treys in the fourth quarter.

"I enjoyed making them," Wilde said. "(Prairie Home) didn't guard me, so I just kept shooting. They just stayed ....
