A poor first quarter doomed the Calvary Lutheran Lady Lions in a 42-33 loss to Metro East Lutheran (Edwardsville, Ill.) in Saturday's third-place game of the Calvary Lutheran Tournament.
The Lady Lions fell behind 19-11 after the first eight minutes and never recovered.
