Calvary Lutheran downs St. Paul Concordia JV

It was the type of performance Calvary Lutheran needed. With leading scorer Trevor Dusheke out due to illness, the Lions needed somebody to step up. That person was Beau Monson.

Playing in just his second game of the season after being sidelined with a deep bone bruise on the top of his foot, the sophomore went off for 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range.

His effort propelled Calvary to a 59-36 victory against the St. Paul Concordia JV team Friday night in the first round of the Calvary Lutheran Tournament at the Trinity Lutheran gym.
