The Calvary Lutheran Lady Lions were as close to full strength as they've been all season.
It was more than enough Thursday night as the Lady Lions opened play in their own tournament with a 45-12 victory against St. Paul Lutheran of Farmington at Trinity Lutheran.
"This should give us a lot of confidence and show us that we're going to win some games this season," Calvary Lutheran coach Jonathon Kueck said.
The scoreboard is obviously the most important number from Thursday night for the Lady Lions. The second was the number of turnovers as the Lady Lions finished with just seven, including just four in the first three quarters. St. Paul had 28.
