Lincoln women, men open MIAA play at Truman State

Following lengthy breaks, the Lincoln basketball teams open the 2013 calendar year with a conference doubleheader at Truman State tonight.

The Lincoln women (6-4, 1-1 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association) kick things off at 5:30 p.m. against the Bulldogs (8-2, 1-1 MIAA).

The Lincoln men (2-10, 1-1 MIAA) cap the doubleheader at 7:30 p.m. after a 14-day break.

Lincoln ended 2012 with a 75-72 loss to Maryville on Dec. 19 and begins its own 16-game streak against conference foes today.

Truman State (4-6, 1-1 MIAA) leads the overall series 43-32.
