MANCHESTER, Mo. - The Parkway South Lady Patriots took a 21-9 lead after one quarter and went on to beat the Jefferson City Lady Jays 61-37 on Tuesday.
The Lady Patriots stretched the lead to 33-19 at halftime and 46-32 after three periods.
Kaley Ruff scored 12 points for Jefferson City and was the only Lady Jay in double figures.
Jefferson City (2-23) is off until starting Class 5 District 9 play Monday at Hickman. The Lady Jays are the fifth seed and will play fourth-seeded Sedalia Smith-Cotton at 6 p.m.
