LINN, Mo. - The Fatima Comets improved to 24-1 with a 61-40 win Thursday against Linn.
Patrick Schnieders paced Fatima with 20 points, while Nolan Bax had 11 and Tom Zeilman added 10.
Fatima, ranked fourth in the state in Class 3, took a 17-8 lead after one quarter. The Comets were up 36-16 at halftime and 49-30 after three periods.
The Comets, the top-ranked team in the Class 3 District 9 Tournament, will open the event at 6 p.m. Thursday against either fourth-ranked Dixon or fifth-ranked School of the Osage
