WESTPHALIA, Mo. - It was a slow start for Fatima on Friday against Russellville. There was nothing slow about the rest of the game for the Comets.
Fatima trailed Russellville 7-6 after the first quarter, but outscored the Indians 67-26 the rest of the way on their way to a 73-33 rout.
Fatima outscored Russeville 35-10 in the second quarter to take a 41-17 lead at halftime. The Comets led 60-25 after three quarters.
Patrick Schnieders led the way with 31 points for Fatima. Tanner Gentges added 16.
The Comets (22-1) play again Tuesday at home against St. Elizabeth.
