KAISER - The California Lady Pintos jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 55-44 win against School of the Osage in a Tri-County Conference matchup on Thursday night.
The Lady Pintos led 11-5 after the first quarter, 26-14 at halftime, and took a 39-25 into the final period.
Sydney Deeken scored 13 points to lead California (5-2, 1-0), which plays Harrisburg at 4 p.m. in the Missouri National Guard Shootout on Saturday.
Isa Morris scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Indians (1-4, 0-2).
The California junior varsity team claimed a 31-25 win in the opener.
