VIENNA - The Vienna Eagles claimed a 61-50 win against Tuscumbia on Tuesday night.
Vienna had a 17-9 lead after the first quarter and led 38-18 entering the second half. Tuscumbia outscored the Eagles 21-8 in the final period, but it wasn't enough.
Wyatt Ahart scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Lions (4-3), while Zane Humphreys added 12 and Orrie Patterson chipped in 10.
Chandler Harker scored 19 points to lead Vienna.
Tuscumbia returns to action Jan. 4 as part of the Pilot Grove Tournament.
