RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - Three positions for the Cole County R-1 Schools Board of Education are open for the April 8, 2014, election.
The terms served by Kris Kirchner, Mark Thompson and Jim Campbell will expire.
The filing period for the positions opens Tuesday and runs through 5 p.m. Jan. 21.
Those interested in running for a three-year seat on the board may file from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the superintendent's office, 13600 Route C.
The office will not be open for filing if the school is closed for inclement weather or during holiday break, Dec. 24-Jan. 2.
