Two injured in Cole County accidents

A Russellville man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at noon Thursday on Route C at its intersection with Route AA in Cole County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Chevrolet van, driven westbound by Daniel L. Murray, 45, Jefferson City, was attempting to make a left turn and turned into the path of a 1999 Chevrolet 2500 pickup, driven eastbound by Gregory A. Ewing, 56, Russellville.

Ewing was taken to Capital Region Medical Center.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

A Henley woman was treated for moderate injuries after a one vehicle accident in Cole County, Friday afternoon.

Patrol reports show Jesse Seals, 29, Henley, was on Route BB, just east of Penny Hollow Road, around 1:40 p.m.

He lost control because of the icy road conditions, went off the left side of the road and overturned.

Seals had no reported injuries and was wearing a seat belt.

His passenger, Heather Seals, 28, was also wearing a seat belt and taken to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
