Crews with the Missouri Highway Patrol's water division spent Friday afternoon dragging an area near the Missouri River bridge for a man believed to have jumped off the bridge Thursday afternoon.
The call came about 4:43 p.m. Thursday that a man had jumped from the pedestrian bridge attached to the northbound bridge.
Personal belongings of a 21-year-old Jefferson City resident were located near the center of the pedestrian bridge. As of Friday afternoon, police had no indications the man had contacted family or friends.
