The snow couldn't keep Springfield Kickapoo away this time.
The Kickapoo Lady Chiefs defeated the Jefferson City Lady Jays 50-32 on Saturday afternoon at Fleming Fieldhouse, two days after the basketball game was originally scheduled to be played.
Kickapoo went up 15-5 after one quarter, 27-13 at halftime and 40-24 after three periods.
Megan Foster paced the Lady Jays with 13 points.
Jefferson City (2-2) takes on Olathe (Kan.) East at 8:30 p.m. Thursday as part of the Stephpanie Phillips Classic in Springfield.
Jefferson City lost the JV contest 49-34.
Lexie Stull paced the Lady Jays with 12 points, while Alexis Roberson had 10.
