Boys Basketball: California 72, St. Elizabeth 53

EUGENE - The California Pintos put four players in double figures while beating St. Elizabeth 72-53 on Monday in the only boys game at the Eugene Tournament.

Damon Shaw had 14 points for the winners, while Dylan Albertson added 13. Drew Norton and Jerry Lutz chipped in with 10 apiece.

California led 24-9 after one quarter, 38-19 at halftime and 53-34 after three quarters.

Brayden Holtmeyer scored 19 points to pace St. Elizabeth, while Travis Minor added 16.

California, the third seed in the event, will play the winner of today's game between No. 2 Blair Oaks and No. 7 Russellville at 9 p.m. Thursday. St. Elizabeth, the sixth seed, will play the Blair Oaks-Russellville loser at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
