Reward offered in cow shooting

A $250 reward is being offered that authorities hope will lead to the arrest of those responsible for a Friday night shooting near Lohman, that killed a pregnant cow and its calf.

The incident occurred on Tammy Goldammer's property is on state Route U, northeast of Russellville and west of Lohman.

Sheriff's reports show the suspect vehicle is a late model two-door, white Chevy Blazer, with a white rust spot on the passenger door, along with a tinted black window.

The cow was shot after the vehicle pulled into a driveway in front of where the cattle were grazing.

The cow and her calf were valued at $4500.

The vehicle was last seen going northbound on Route U.

Deputies have been following some leads, but have not been able to come up with a suspect.
