A significant portion of the Lowe's parking lot in Jefferson City shows signs of new construction as ground was broken last week on what will eventually become the city's first Chick-fil-a on Missouri Boulevard.

Despite some confusion, constant hoping and lots of wondering, the question has finally been answered. Chick-fil-A is on its way!

The restaurant broke ground on its Jefferson City location last week. The fast-food chain was expected to begin construction in late summer, and has delivered just in time. The building, which was approved by Planning and Zoning last December, will be located on 1.17 acres on the Missouri Boulevard property owned by Lowe's Home Centers near Wildwood Drive.
