A Camdenton man was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Thursday on Old South Route 5, south of Missouri 7, in Camden County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Freightliner driven northbound by Laura L. Poole, 58, Cape Girardeau, was making a left turn onto Old South Route 5 from a private drive. A 2001 Yamaha YZF-R1 driven southbound by Gerald E. Roberts 42, Camdenton, struck the side of the trailer pulled by Poole's truck.
Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene by Camden County Medical Examiner Ann Wilson.
Both were wearing safety devices and seat belts.
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:10 p.m. Thursday on Missouri 5 at Bear Paw Road in Camden County.
The patrol reported a 2004 Dodge Durango driven southbound by Amber D. Rosenbaugh, 37, Macks Creek, pulled to the right shoulder to make a left turn. A 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven southbound by Dylan T. Larock, 23, Camdenton, traveled into the path of the Rosenbaugh vehicle and was struck by it.
Larock, Rosenbaugh and a passenger in the Rosenbaugh vehicle, Jeri R. Wood, 45, Sunrise Beach, were taken to Lake Regional Hospital.
Everyone except Larock was wearing seat belts.
A Meta man was listed in critical condition Friday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash earlier in the day in Cole County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Damon Rufener, 37, was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash occurred just after 8 a.m. on Route B, 1 1/2 miles south of Tanner Bridge Spur.
A van driven by Adam Leasure, 33, Jefferson City, was turning into a private driveway and went into the path of Rufener's vehicle.
Rufener's vehicle struck Leasure's van nearly head-on.
Leasure had no reported injuries.
A Jefferson City man was treated for moderate injuries after a one-vehicle crash Friday morning in Miller County.
Patrol reports show Nathaniel Roudebush, 23, was going south on Hall Store Road, south of Missouri 52, around 10:15 a.m.
He lost control of his vehicle, which caused it to overturn.
Roudebush was wearing a seat belt.
