Nevada adds UCLA, Missouri to next basketball sked

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada has added UCLA and Missouri to an upcoming basketball schedule that already includes a road game at Cal.

It's the first time the Wolf Pack will play non-conference games against three BCS teams in the same season since David Carter became the coach five years ago.

Nevada faces UCLA and Missouri at the Las Vegas Invitational Nov. 28-29. They play at Cal on Dec. 10. All three teams are considered NCAA Tournament contenders.

The Wolf Pack's non-conference games include Long Beach State, Iona, San Francisco and Pacific, which visits for the home opener on Nov. 8 at Lawlor Events Center. Also Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, UC Davis, Omaha, Tennessee Chattanooga and Morehead State.
