A fundraiser barbecue will be at McClung Park in Jefferson City for Camp Wonderland from 5-6:30 p.m. Aug. 13.

Tickets are $25, with free admission for children under 10. Tickets can be bought at Wallstreet Group, Coleman Appliance, Zesto South, Busch's Florist and Hy-Vee.

All proceeds go to the Camp Wonderland Foundation to help keep the cost of camp down for attendees.

The meal will feature pork steaks, baked beans and potato salad. Soda and ice will be served, and people can bring their own alcoholic beverages.

A live auction will start at 6:30 p.m., with a silent auction closing at 7 p.m. Auction items include a Cardinals ticket with batting practice field passes, University of Missouri football tickets, a barbecue smoker, a limo ride and dinner for four at Madison's Cafe, plus several gift baskets and gift cards.

Located in Rocky Mount, Wonderland Camp's mission is to provide a fun, educational camp experience for children, teenagers and adults who have disabilities. It also offers respite from daily care giving for family members and healthcare workers.
