EUGENE - The Eugene Eagles placed five players in the top seven finishers Wednesday in taking team honors in the Show-Me Conference Championships at Redfield Golf and Country Club.
Eugene finished with a team score of 326. Drew Geritz led the Eagles with a 79 to take third in the individual competiton. He was immediately followed by teammates Ryan Doerhoff (82), Cody Shaw (82), Jeremy Evers (83) and Austin Russell (84).
Chandler Wolf of Russellville was the medalist, shooting a 76, one shot better than Zack Kucsik of Linn.
Rounding out the top 10 finishers were Garner Rudroff of South Callaway (87), Dustin Gillespie of New Bloomfield (88) and Connor Muenks of Fatima (88).
Russellville was second in the team standings with a 362, three shots better than Linn. New Bloomfield (383), Fatima (389) and South Callaway (437) also posted team scores.
